Just a little food for thought on this Tuesday evening. If you ever thought about the people in your life that could be holding you back from achieving your goals, now might be the time to consider an eviction from your life. Life is too short to let negativity or lack of support bring you down.
If you dream big, have people in your life that achieve big. Their success will not only be infectious, but also inspire you to keep dreaming and achieving. Nothing great ever comes without hard work and the path to greater health and fitness is a perfect testament to that. On those days when you feel small and like your efforts are not enough, use the people in your life that are getting there to inspire you. Ask them how they do it. Ask them what they do when they start to struggle. Ask them what keeps them on the path they set down. Ask them who they model themselves after. All these things can help you tap into your inner greatness and unleash potential you may have never known existed.
It’s never too late to surround yourself with the kind of people that make you better. Seek them out or get as close as you can to the ones you already have in your life. They are the ones that will have your back and be by your side when you want to give up. I know this because they have all been right where you are and made it to the other side. Resiliency is the key to keeping focused and knowing even when you hit bumps in the road, they are just bumps. You can take the jolt and know it will pass.
Greatness begets greatness. Don’t forget that. The greater the company you keep, the greater your potential to become whatever it is you set out to be or achieve whatever you set out to achieve. Because the thing about great people is that they support greatness in others. Knowing any greatness they help others to achieve only fuels their proverbial fire of greatness. It is a gift that keeps on giving over and over. And for anyone that believes in karma, it’s a great way to exercise some good karma in your favor.
Strength in greatness!
